The increase in rates for training and board are due to increased fuel and hay costs. Windrush Hill Farm also added stalls, a heated/insulated washrack for winter use, and a heated breakroom with hot and cold water.   Ann is one of the few trainers that socializes horses, works on ground manners, and hauls young horses on trail rides.  Training horses can be dangerous and is hard on equipment, fences, trailers and tack.  Ann has been training horses for over 30 years and continues her education through lessons and clinics in various disciplines like roping, reining, cutting, and dressage.  Ann is interested in helping owners with a serious intrest with good horsemanship and is not interested in the "kick to go and pull to stop" type of training. Riding school masters and taking lessons on finely trained horses lets you experience the feel and possibilities. Windrush Hill Farm hopes that it can offer a quality learning experience for horses and humans.  Ann will no longer be starting colts under saddle, and looks forward to spending more time finishing horses than starting them.  Windrush Hill would like to thank everyone for their patronage and looks forward to helping in the future.
