Lessons

English and Western lessons are available with your own horse.  Lesson horses are available on a lease arrangement.  Helmets and riding boots are required at all times when mounted.  Safety is the number one priority.  Students learn "from the ground up."  Lessons start with students learning equine psychology, behavior and body language.  Students will catch, groom and tack up their horses.  Students practice ground work with their mounts before riding to make certain that their horse is confident, listening and ready to ride.  Students learn basic horsemanship and equestrian skills.  Mounted lessons include arena exercises, trail riding, games on horseback, obstacles, and cavalry drills.
